An assessment of the effects of noise during construction, operation and decommissioning of the development will be carried out as part of the application.
Noise during construction will be managed through use of best practice guidance. This will include measures such as the restriction of activities to times agreed with Coasts and Causeways Council, publication of the construction programme, liaison with local community representatives, and where practicable, the use of the quietest available items of equipment.
Noise from the operation of wind turbines will be assessed in accordance with standard guidance and the acceptable limits set by standard European guidance. All turbines will be controlled to ensure the noise does not breach these limits at any identified receptor.
Noise during decommissioning will be managed to ensure compliance with legislation, guidance or standards relevant at the time, and is likely to be similar to that generated during commissioning, and over a shorter timescale.
